We are pleased to announce that Robert W. Lowe III, M.D. has joined Premier's Centennial Care Center, which is located near downtown Nashville.

Dr. Lowe is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Tennessee. He is Board Certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. His specialty is in spine with a special interest in scoliosis and spinal deformity. He maintains privileges at Centennial Medical Center, Baptist Hospital, Saint Thomas Hospital, and the Premier Orthopaedic Surgery Center.

Dr. Lowe achieved a Spine Fellowship in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. His residency in Orthopaedic Surgery and internship in general surgery were served in the Department of at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He was awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.

Prior to joining Premier Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in April 2010, Dr. Lowe practiced with Tennessee Spine and Joint Center. He was honored with numerous awards and scholarships during his professional educational experience.

Away from the practice of medicine, Dr. Lowe participates in sports, including golf, rock climbing, hiking, and water-skiing. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, the symphony, and his church.
