Dr. Boyce is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon now in practice nearly six years. He has expertise in the treatment of degenerative and traumatic conditions of the spinal column.*
Dr. Boyce is recognized by the NCQA, the National Committee for Quality Assurance, for delivering superior care to individuals suffering from back pain. He has performed hundreds of procedures on the disks and bones of the back and neck.*
Dr. Boyce graduated with honors from Auburn University in 1992. He attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine where he graduated in the top 25% of his class. He then completed an internshipin General Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Boyce completed his training as a Chief Resident in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2001. After Residency, Dr. Boyce subspecialized in Spine Surgery by completing a fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles. A key component of this training involved working alongside nationally recognized experts in the field of spine surgery – including both Orthopaedic and Neurological surgeons.
Dr. Boyce holds active memberships in the North American Spine Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Boyce is member of the Lebanon First United Methodist Church and the United States Team Roping Championships. He and his wife, Mindy, reside in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee with their horses.
